Wood Floor Laying and Sustainability’ an event dedicated to architects held at Piacenza on Friday 28 September, was a great success. The meeting dealt with subjects that are of great interest to those who design living space with a careful eye on quality and the environment.
After the opening speech by Giuseppe Baracchi, president of the Piacenza Order of Architects, the conference got under way with a talk by architect Marcello Dellarosa of Studio archiNOW regarding the different steps of a project, from its concept to fulfilment. Our sales director, Gianni Miatello, illustrated the supply chain stages, which are managed entirely in-house by CP Parquet, permitting total quality control, from drying the timber to refined hand-finished wood flooring.
Elio Da Broi gave a practical demonstration of how pre-finished flooring is made and explained the characteristics that make CP Parquet wood flooring an exceptional product in terms of both aesthetics and reliability. Salvador Dalvano, president of the Italian Wood Floor Layers’ Association (AIPPL) did the honours to close the session, with a technical report about the different types of laying plans for wood floors.
